To minimize cable deflection, each cable, when properly installed, will have a tension load of at least 300 lbs. Therefore, it's important that frames are designed and built strong enough to support these loads. Review Frame Requirement Detail to help you prepare the railing for cable infill.
We strongly advise against exceeding a 3-inch cable spacing.
We recommend having a post or vertical member (intermediate picket) at least every 3 feet. CableRail Conceal Assemblies don't require specialcrimpers or tensioning tools. The basic tool list would include: Electric drill, CR Conceal Star Drive (can be purchased separately) [SKU# CSDT]
1/2€ and 9/16€ Ratcheng Box Wrench, 5/32€ T-Handle Hex Wrench and Cable Cutters for trimming the cable ends.
